For serviced residences

Run the residence, bring it to life

Nidz is the app for serviced residences: incident reports, announcements, resident move-ins and move-outs, and community life, in one place. You run it from the web, residents follow along from their phone.

What takes up your time today

Three situations residence managers know well, and that the app is built to fix.

What Nidz changes for you

A management tool connected to the residents' app, for any serviced residence, whoever lives there: seniors, students or young professionals.

01

Every incident report in one place

The resident reports the incident in the app, with photos and the building concerned. You move it from status to status (acknowledged, in progress, resolved): every step notifies the reporter, and the exchanges stay in the comment thread.

02

A clear priority, from P1 to P4

You assess each report's severity and urgency, and Nidz derives the priority. You know what to handle first, across one residence or several.

03

An announcement sent to every resident

Hot water cut, a technician's visit, a new instruction: the announcement goes out as a notification and by email, with its attachments, to one residence or several at once. A built-in poll collects residents' views.

04

Community life that residents shape

In a serviced residence, you also have the Community section: you suggest an activity or start a discussion, residents sign up, talk and lend each other items.

05

Move-ins and move-outs, managed from the web

A new resident finds the residence by its name or street and requests access to their home: you accept or decline. When they leave, you remove them from the home and they are notified by email. Residents manage their own household members.

How to get started with Nidz

No IT project, with support at launch.

  1. 01

    We show you, then we create the residence

    A 15-minute demo on the manager side and the resident side, then we create the residence (buildings, floors, homes) from your list. You add the practical information and the documents, such as the house rules.

  2. 02

    Residents are invited

    Every resident receives an email invitation; a newcomer can also look the residence up in the app and request access, which you approve. You appoint referents among the residents.

  3. 03

    You follow move-ins and move-outs

    You add a newcomer to their home or approve their request, remove whoever leaves, and resend the invitation to those who have not accepted it yet.

Your questions

Which app can I use to manage a serviced residence?

Nidz is an app for serviced residences: it brings together residents’ incident reports, the manager’s announcements, move-ins and move-outs, and community life. In practice:

  • residents’ incident reports, tracked by status and priority until they are resolved;
  • the manager’s announcements, sent as a notification and by email, with a poll when needed;
  • resident management: invitations, access requests, move-ins and move-outs, referents;
  • the community: discussions, activities and item lending between residents.

The manager runs it from the web or their phone, residents use the app on iOS, Android or in a browser, for free. In a serviced residence, the app talks about residents and homes, never about owners, tenants or units. All features.

Senior, student or young professionals' residence: does Nidz fit?

For a serviced residence housing older adults, students or young professionals, Nidz brings announcements, incident reports and community life into one app. There, the app uses the words resident and home, without mentioning owners or tenants, and the residents of a home manage their own household members.

Everyone uses it the way they are used to: on iOS, on Android or in a web browser, on a computer or a tablet, with the same account everywhere. The residence’s announcements are also emailed to every registered resident, and the app is free for residents.

Who are the referents of a serviced residence?

In Nidz, the referents of a serviced residence are residents chosen by the manager who have announcements and discussions reserved for them. Each referent is told of their appointment by email and by notification.

Referents publish announcements reserved for referents, seen only by them and the manager, and can start discussions reserved for the referents and the manager. For everything else, they use Nidz like any resident: incident reports, the residence’s announcements, discussions, activities and item lending.

How do I handle residents moving in and out?

In Nidz, a serviced residence manager adds new residents or approves their access requests, removes those who leave and can resend an invitation, home by home, from the management workspace.

You add a resident with their first name, last name and email: they receive an invitation to join Nidz. A newcomer can also look the residence up by its name or street, pick their home and request access, which you accept or decline. When someone leaves, you remove them from their home and they are notified by email. The residents of a home add the people who live with them themselves.

How much does Nidz cost for a serviced residence?

For serviced residence managers, Nidz pricing is quoted according to the size of the portfolio. The app stays free for residents.

Is my data protected?

Yes. Nidz is a French company; your data is hosted exclusively in the European Union and processed in accordance with the GDPR. Each residence is a private space: only its members, approved by the manager, can access it.

You stay in control of your profile: you choose whether to accept messaging with your neighbours, and you can delete your account at any time from the app. The details are in our privacy policy.
