For residents' councils

The residents' council, finally equipped

You are volunteers, standing between the owners and the property manager. Nidz gives you a private space, the same information as the manager and a channel that reaches the whole building, with nothing complicated to install.

What you deal with today

Four situations every council member knows, and that the app is built to fix.

What Nidz changes for the council

A real role in the app, connected to the manager on one side and to the owners on the other.

01

A private space for the council

Council members have their own role in the app: announcements reserved for the council and the manager, a thread that keeps the history, and the preparation of the general meeting in the same place as everything else.

02

Incidents in front of you, in real time

Every incident reported by a resident has a status, a priority and a comment thread. You see what is being handled, what is dragging and what is resolved, without chasing anyone.

03

Consult the owners in a day

An announcement with a built-in poll reaches every phone, by notification and by email. You get a numbered answer on a quote or a date, before the meeting even starts.

04

A building that talks

Discussions, activities and item lending between neighbours: life in the building grows between residents, and the council is no longer the only link between them.

05

A history that serves you on meeting day

Resolved incidents, dates, exchanges with the manager: the facts are there, dated and shared, to account for the management and prepare decisions.

How to equip your building

With your property manager or at the council's initiative, within days.

  1. 01

Talk to your manager, we help

A 15-minute demo for you, then what you need to present it to your manager: Nidz complements their management software, it does not replace it. If your manager is on board, they run it from the web; otherwise the residence signs up directly.

  2. 02

    We create the residence

Buildings, homes and lots from your list, then the council members receive their role in the app.

  3. 03

    The owners are invited

Every occupant gets an email invitation; the others request access from the app, and the manager approves. We support the launch.

Your questions

How much does it cost?

It depends on the number of units. For a residence set up on the initiative of its residents or its residents’ council, Nidz costs €0.50 per home per month. For property managers equipping several residences, pricing is quoted according to the size of the portfolio.

Either way, get in touch: we come back to you with a precise figure for your residence.

Who is Nidz for?

Everyone who makes a residence run, each with their own role in the app:

  • residents, owners and tenants alike, report an incident, follow its handling, stay informed and talk with their neighbours;
  • the residents’ council has a reserved space for its exchanges with the manager and can publish announcements meant for the council;
  • the property manager handles reports, informs residents and runs all of their residences from the web.

Nidz currently supports more than 140 residences in France: condominiums, serviced residences and homeowners’ associations. See what Nidz brings to property managers.

Is my data protected?

Yes. Nidz is a French company; your data is hosted exclusively in the European Union and processed in accordance with the GDPR. Each residence is a private space: only its members, approved by the manager, can access it.

You stay in control of your profile: you choose whether to accept messaging with your neighbours, and you can delete your account at any time from the app. The details are in our privacy policy.

How do I equip my residence?

Request a demo through the contact form, or book a 15-minute slot directly: we show you the app on the resident side and on the manager side.

Then we set up your residence (buildings, homes, units) from your list of units, residents are invited by email and supported as they get started. Are you a residents’ council member? We help you present Nidz to your property manager. What Nidz brings to property managers.

Is the app paid for residents?

No. Downloading and using Nidz is free for residents, owners and tenants alike, on iOS, Android and the web. The subscription is carried by the residence: by the owners themselves when the residence signs up directly (€0.50 per home per month), or by the property manager when they equip their portfolio.

The price depends on the number of homes, not on the number of accounts created: inviting every resident costs nothing more. See pricing.

What can the residents' council do in Nidz?

Council members have a dedicated role in the app, granted by the residence’s manager. They publish announcements reserved for the council, visible only to its members and the manager, with a thread that keeps the history.

For the rest, they see and do everything a resident can: report an incident and follow its progress, receive announcements, answer polls, take part in discussions and activities. Qualifying incidents and publishing announcements to the whole residence remain the manager’s job. Nidz for residents’ councils.
